How should I approach topics of spirituality?

You have a unique opportunity to encourage your child spiritually. Some ideas:

• Share your story of faith.
• Remind your child of God's life-changing love.
• Let your child know that God has a special plan for his or her life-and that all things are possible with God.
• Tell your child that you are praying every step of the way.
• Ask how you can pray for your child.

Please be sensitive to your sponsored child's age, background, and spiritual maturity. Keep in mind your sponsored child may not be a Christian.
